| Comments: |
Got a little off-trail at first brook crossing, where the cable for the sugar bush goes across trail. Had a bit of a time getting back to trail - going under so many sugaring tubes. Perfect afternoon - no wind, pretty good views. Trails had around 4-6" packed out snow but pretty lumpy at times - only a couple times wanted my micros (which were in the pack). Pondered snowshoes but snow just wasn't deep enough for them yet. A few rocks here and there were hard on my crappy ankles. Lifts running at top of Sunapee - observed some lift evac training on one of the closed lifts. |
