Comments
Comments: It is looking like the rain is not coming until later tomorrow (Sunday), so maybe this report will still hold true before the rain comes. Crawford Path has a nice snow shoe track, packed solid. The beginning has a few exposed rocks, and some very small icy sections, but did not cause any issues, easy to step around. After the junction of the Webster Cliff Trail, continuing on the Crawford Path and Mt. Eisenhower Loop, there were a few very short sections that had some soft, deeper snow/drifts with some post holing, but did not cause any issues at all. I used Hillsounds start to finish, and snow shoes went for a ride. On my descent, it seemed to be warming a bit, snow was melting and falling from the trees, and the trail was getting slick, but not soft enough to post hole. What an absolutely amazing morning to be above tree line!!!
