The Sunday/Monday rain storm took away most of the snow (Stinson Mountain still looks to have full snowpack on its southern slope), leaving shoulder season conditions. Some patchy ice and mud plus the usual running water on Old Mountain Erode. Snow and ice was fairly easy to avoid; never considered putting on Microspikes.
Crawford Ridgepole had a slight dusting of snow on the northern slope, but was otherwise generally snow free.
Clear afternoon/early evening with temperatures hovering around freezing. |
