| Comments: |
Started in spikes and immediately removed them. The botting was insane today. Down low was a layer of slush with an inch or two of powdery snow on top. Gale River Loop had 3-5” of loose snow. Bare booted to the bottom of steep climb up to Garfield Ridge where we donned snowshoes. Kept on snowshoes up to the Twins and then a little further on the descent. Lots of water on Gale River trail which resulted in large stretches of trail that are bare down to the leaves. |
