Comments
Comments: 19 Mile to the junction with Carter dome trail has minimal amounts of snow. The few inches there are packed out. Snow depth increases with elevation but remains packed down with good traction. Used spikes start to finish. Some spots above zeta pass had loose powder but it's not too deep. Saw onehiker with snowshoes, the rest in spikes. This remains the case across to the north Carter junction and the snow steadily decreases in volume on the descent down imp. The lower 2 miles of imp trail are similar to 19 mile but with more icy spots due to the traditionally wet trail. Used traction start to finish with no problems.
