Comments
Comments: Same as most reports from the week. Very bony down low, we chose to bareboot for the first .4 before putting on spikes. The ledge sections had some running water but mainly ice covered, with warm temps spikes were able to get a good grip on the soft ice. Toward the upper section of the trail the ice was less prevalent and was mainly hard packed snow. Above tree line was more of the same with occasional ice patches and trace amount of snow. From the ski slope to the tower snow was deeper but never more than 2-4 inches. Kept spikes on from the tower back to the parking lot. Trail conditions will probably change a lot over the next couple days but for now spikes are all that is needed.
