Comments
Comments: great mild day out , great views from Potash - glad to see a decent packed /crusted snow pack of about 8 inches still from the start, barebooted until coming out of the softwoods , put micros on there where mostly rock had frozen ice (most avoidable by going off trail a bit)- kept them on for the rock slabs to the summit, where there was patches of ice along with open rock.

NOTE: decided to avoid Downes Brook crossing with all the rain from previous days, allot of water, so parked at fire road and took it .7 to where it meets the Mt Potash trail on the other side of the brook at the trail .5 mile mark. Great Day !
