| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Ravine Road was icy, pretty common for this time of year, but not quite as bad as it does get! I parked in the designated parking area, there were two spots left when I arrived at 8am. Someone else pulled in just after me, and then more cars started arriving. When I finished there were a lot of cars parked along the side of the road. |

Absolutely stellar morning on the Moose, and trail conditions were sweet! I wore my Hillsounds start to finish. Ravine Road was mostly icy, and some bare sections. The beginning of Gorge Brook Trail was a bit boney, and some icy sections, but nothing that caused any issues. Around 3900 ft is where it started turning into the gorgeous snowy wonderland. The trail had a nice packed base almost all the way to the summit. Above tree line there were some small sections with soft snow, most likely from drifts, but nothing major at all. Even if trails softened up later today, with the cold temps tonight, conditions should still be good tomorrow morning, before the rain comes early afternoon. |
