All crossings were fairly easily hopable, don't trust the ice/snow bridges. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Trail is in good shape, couple of leaners and stepovers but nothing too concerning. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Jackson the Dog and Millie had an absolute dime of a day out there. |
|
| Bugs: |
Didn't see anything but there was stuff flying around at the house in Lincoln last night. |
|
| Lost and Found: |
Nothing lost. There's a winter hat on the post at the trailhead. Jackson also found some human poo on the trail, so that was cool. |

| Comments: |
Had a lovely hike today with some great friends and got our dogs together for the first time. Considering the weather, the trails are actually in pretty good shape right now. Little wet in some spots, little icy in some spots on the ascent/descent, and a little choppy with some postholes here and there. Better than I thought they'd be and a million times better than the ish show that they were around this time last year. Trees are icy around North Peak so keep in mind if the weather is warm ya might get rained on. |
