Ice/packed/mud for the first mile and a half. Packed trail to the junction for Pierce's summit. Could've used snowshoes to Eisenhower, but was stubborn and didn't. No postholing, just sliding in powder. Gorgeous day up there with lots of people. Fast hike, however. Couldn't ask for better. A good base for anything to come. |
