Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Summit register notebook, I have it.

Comments
Comments: Basically just adding this post as a continuation from CookiesOnTop's post, I must have summited this low mountain minutes before they bushwhacked up, great route from Mousley.

Wanted to get out and check out the newly opened Upper Valley Land Trust's new corridor. I love this little peak and the summit it has to offer, no views but it more than makes up for that with good ol' spruce and moss.

So, about that summit register box: the spring was broken when I found it. I picked up the shredded notebook and packed it out - dried it out and reassembled the pages.

As I always carry an extra register notebook with pencils, I was torn over leaving a new notebook at the register - settled on NOT leaving a new book as the wooden register box is clearly damaged and the door does NOT latch. I did not want to see ANOTHER brand new notebook get snagged and torn apart. The wooden box needs to be fixed in a manor which allows it to latch.

Oh, and the jaw size of the little sucker who stole the previous notebook, decent bite size! Definitely not a mouse stealing those notebooks lol.

If anyone wants the old Stonehouse Mountain register, or knows who to return it to - please email me or find me on IG. I don't want to keep this register, plus its only 3 pages anyway, going back to Sept 2023, when it was hung. I just could not leave a pile of shredded paper on the top of a mountain to get completely saturated during the coming winter. Pack it out!

Anyhoo - there is a bright and shiny new trail report for the new Stonehouse Mountain trail, hot off the presses..
