| Comments: |
The trails are very sensitive right now due to the many inches of rain and the time of the year (ground frost coming and going). Please give the mountain trails a few days to stablize/recover.
The trails to South Peak are logging roads, much of which were rebuilt a year ago. Trails were wet this afternoon, but no boot-sucking-mud. Apart from a snowbank remnant in the parking lot, there is zero snow or ice remaining.
Flood waters in the area are starting to recede, but are still pretty high (Tenney Mountain highway fields are still flooded, exit 25 is still closed/flooded, etc.). |
