| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Second hike of the day after hiking the Phoebes Nable loop as described in the guidebook on the other side; one other car was there when we arrived around 8:30am and three others when I returned at 1:15pm. Room for about a half dozen before it would begin to overflow. The last 0.5mi is gravel and narrow. May have been a bit rough too. It easily could've been damaged in the recent rainstorm and I don't think it would've been easy to park further down the road. If it did get significantly damaged, I would expect a quick fix time as there's a house nearly at the trailhead. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
I don't believe there were any. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
Burrows Farm Trail is blazed in yellow though I think it may have been infrequent due to it being a road. North Trail is not blazed. Both Beauty Knob Trail and Beauty Ledge Trail were well blazed in blue. There's a small duck under or two on Beauty Ledge Trail not too far from the summit. Not difficult to get around. |

2nd hike of the day after redlining the Phoebes Nable loop with my mother. I hiked the loop part of the hike, counterclockwise, opposite of what the guidebook describes so as to ascend the more gradual way and descend the steeper (but not all that steep really). I do not remember much about ground conditions on this or the other hike, but there was definitely little/no troublesome ice on this hike unlike the other one. I'd assume there was some mud as well but I don't really recall. Note that coming off the ledge along Beauty Ledge Trail, the trail could be a bit obscure between the woods and the leaves. Just look for blazing though. Note that to access the view ledge, it's essentially a spur as shown on the map in the guidebook but made slightly less clear in the trail description. Gaia had me at 2.5mi, 500ft of gain, and a little more than 1hr. |
