Comments
Comments: After reading reports of conditions in the north, decided to check out Madame Sherri’s Forest and some smaller Southwest NH peaks. Definitely heading back to this gem of an area with it’s beautiful mixed hardwood forest. Made two counter-clockwise loops today including Ann Stokes Loop and Daniels Mt Loop. Only the lower sections of Stokes and Daniels were muddy/flooded and it was easy to walk through those areas with waterproof boots. Heading up to East Peak, the Oak leaves are bountiful and a fairly slick substrate to walk on.
