| Comments: |
Went out for a little sunset hike with Hayley, Brady, The First Lady, and the dogs. We carried spikes but barebooted the whole way. A few spots with a little bit of ice, barely any running water on the trail, and no snow aside from a light dusting near the summit. It felt like stick season/end of October. Note that if you want to walk around the summit to the other side, there is a swath of black ice in a precarious position on the angled corner. Better off taking one of the herd paths through the woods. The trail was in great shape, expected it to be a little more beat up following the storms. |
