Comments
Comments: I met two very nice young men at the trail’s junction of Liberty Springs Trail and Flume Slide Trail. We decided to give a try for Flume Slide. Because of the floodings, the water crossings were tricky. We managed four or five water crossings by walking or riding on the trees crossing the books before the slide. The slide was covered with ice that looked treacherous. We took the way to bypass the icy rocks all the way to Mt. Flume if we could. Liberty Springs Trail was much easier with only one water crossing which was difficult also. For us, micro spike was enough although I have full crampons in my backpack.
