Quick Jaunt up major for sunrise. The main trail is mostly dry with avoidable puddles and small streams on some parts of the lower trail. Once the elevation gain starts things get a bit icy and some careful route finding is required to make it up through the rocks without spikes on, lots of black ice and ice beneath leaves, rock spikes may be a good idea. The climbers left work around for the rocky portion was dry with some patches of avoidable ice. |
