| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
We didn't bump into Lea who also wrote a report, earlier today, but we did clear all of the smaller blowdowns and branches on our way back out. We counted 4-5 blowdowns on the Cherry Mountain Trail (some up to about 6-8 inches in diameter). There is a leaner after the junction with the snowmobile trail that probably won't matter to hikers this winter but looks like it could cause an issue for the snowmobile trail once the snowpack builds. And there is a blowdown on Martha's Mile that fell into (not across) the trail, so that will take some work. |

| Comments: |
Writing a second trail report more to update trail maintenance notes (guessing we came down after Lea, who wrote a report earlier). Hard ice on the trail starting at about 2500 feet. I brought my rock spikes and had 1 or 2 close calls, but kept my bum off the ground. Hayley, Brady, and Neal did a little better with Hillsounds. Either way, bring the sharp spikes and watch your footing. Owl's Head is icy and a little tricky near the ledges but not too bad. We didn't have a saw but moved/cleaned just about everything else. |
