Comments
Comments: Threw on micro spikes about .25 mi from the tent site. For the most part kept them on til the summit. Most of the rocks throughout were dry so it’s easy enough to avoid the ice in most places (but not all). I personally didn’t feel great about my chances making it to flume as my spikes weren’t providing enough traction on the hard ice on the opposite side of Liberty. I turned around pretty quickly. I made it back to the trailhead around 130p and was seeing some melting on the way down.
