Comments
Comments: Started at 5:45 only car in the lot. Jewell trail has many blowdowns but passable with some effort. Hillsounds worn car to car. Trail is in terrific shape. Very minimal snow in most areas with a few avoidable ice dams on gulfside. Anything more than microspikes would have been overkill. Saw a few others on our return to the car. Only regrets is not spotting a car to get Adams and Madison too. First day of winter well spent!
