Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Log crossing on Dicey’s Mill is icy. Better off skipping the biggest log and going a few more yards up river for a less icy log. Even then I had to butt scoot across.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Two blow downs on Rollins halfway between peaks. Easy to get around but are blocking trail. Otherwise the trails are in great shape as always thanks to the local volunteers.

Comments
Comments: A real mix of conditions right now. Bare booted up to 3100 and then wore crampons until the 3000 mark on the way down. Ledges are in good shape but can be slick. Lots of mud on the lower two miles of Dicey’s Mill. Feels a lot more like April hiking than December right now.
