Comments
Comments: Followed Buzza's path from Wednesday...already have E. Osceola in winter. Cold start but the 2.5 mile road walk warmed me up to the point of shedding most of my layers. Barefooted up to the ledges then spikes up to the summit and back down to a ways past the ledges. There's enough ice in spots to slow the pace but pretty easy going for the most part. On the return I took a bushwhack from the first bend down towards the Tripoli Rd and ended up on a very old woods road. Before I hit that road I came across a very old, hand dug pit and an old wheel barrow. The woods road has seen lots of campers as witnessed by the rock ring fire pits and garbage. Only saw four others today, all on top of Osceola and they were headed back to E. Osceola. The Tripoli Rd walk was about 2.5 miles one way.
