Tiny crossings, the biggest issue is that most of the rocks had thick layers of ice. |

Major blowdowns at the Valley Way Tentsite, also many blowdowns all along Airline once you're below treeline. All can be gone around |

A very love/hate relationship with microspikes all up Valley Way, there was no correct time and also no wrong time to put them on. Large stretches of ice followed by large stretches on rocks with no ice.
Airline on the way down was a much easier decision: just keep the spikes on. Thick ice along most of the trail once you get below treeline. In hindsight it would've been best to remove my spikes roughly where Randolph Path crossed. |
