Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: All three of us left our doggos home today (Kodiak was very sad, but he had a great day with his sitter). Our original plan was Washington, Jefferson, Adams and Madison, and we were not entirely certain of what to expect in certain areas so did not bring them today. We saw two others heading to Jefferson that seemed to be enjoying the day.
Bugs
Bugs: None
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Nothing lost, nothing found.

Comments
Comments: No traction from the car up to Jacob's Ladder. Put on Hillsounds and wore them up to Washington, and then once heading on the Guilfside towards Jefferson, there was a lot of bare rock, so decided to take them off. They were not off for long before we came upon a large snow section that slick, so we put them back on. Then a lot of bare rock again. We decided to just leave them on because none of us like to play the spikes on/spikes off game. After Jefferson, we got back on the Gulfside and started heading to Adams. There was still some bare rock, but enough snow now to definitely leave on the traction. When we got to the Jefferson snowfield, it was looking sketchy, and we had doubts. We assessed and decided to make the attempt to cross. One of my friends went first, and two steps in it was clear that we were not able to cross. We all agreed that we were not comfortable with taking the risk, and turned around and went back the same way, and down the cog. And with our change of plans we got to see Santa at Waumbek station :)
