| Comments: |
Crawford Path up to the Mizpah Cutoff was a mix of rock and ice; spikes went on around here. Trails were mostly hardpack snow after the Cutoff till just before the summit of Eisenhower which had a very thin layer of snow. The lower 2 miles of Crawford Path had less snow and ice on the return trip than on the ascent due to the warming afternoon temps. I brought both rock spikes and new spikes, but never needed the new spikes. |
