Comments
Comments: This hike is certainly enjoyable and on a clear day, there are some amazing views. Mt Hight is a must-see, and once I hit Carter Dome from Mt Hight the rest of the hike was easier. Trail conditions are a bit of a mix. Lots of sections of dry trail with large rocks, slick ice, blowdowns in some sections, running water, and snow on the summits of the Carters. Snowshoes are NOT needed until the next major snowfall.
