Comments
Comments: Decided to go northboun starting at 6am. Bareboots or light traction (exospikes) until the last water crossing on the bondcliff Trail. Very little snow or ice until this point. We encountered a lot of bare rock on bondcliff but decided to keep the exospikes on from this point until the road walk. After Bondcliff we experienced spring like snow. Snow was getting slushy with the high temperatures. Too little snow for anything more than light traction. We did not use microspikes for fear of balling. Lots of ice from zeacliff to just below the hut. The road walk was bareboots. 10hrs total, happy to get back to the car without headlamps.
