Comments
Comments: We bare-booted up to the first water crossing, taking care over patches of ice on the Lincoln Brook Trail. We put on microspikes for the second water crossing (just before Brutus). We ascended the Owls Head Slide using spikes up high — there was some ice in tricky places. There’s packed snow above the slide all the way to the summit. We took the Brutus bushwhack down and it was just about all clear of ice and snow.
