| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Plenty of parking today. |
|
| Surface Conditions: |
Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Snow/Ice - Small Patches |
|
| Recommended Equipment: |
Light Traction |
|
| Water Crossing Notes: |
The water was no longer too high for rock hopping. The first crossing has seen enough melting to show bare rock (no traction needed). The second crossing has decaying ice bridges so spikes are helpful/necessary. |

Nothing notable. |

| Comments: |
We bare-booted up to the first water crossing, taking care over patches of ice on the Lincoln Brook Trail. We put on microspikes for the second water crossing (just before Brutus). We ascended the Owls Head Slide using spikes up high — there was some ice in tricky places. There’s packed snow above the slide all the way to the summit. We took the Brutus bushwhack down and it was just about all clear of ice and snow. |
