Quick hike up a mountain that's been on my list for a very long time. Glad I got out there. Fog and haze on the way to the mountain was concerning, but as I ascended, the haze sorted itself out, and actually made the sunset ablaze with vivid colors. Views to Washington, Chocorua, and even out to Franconia were fine, as were the views of that little pond off to the south. There was a little ice here and there, but it's easily managed; bare boots are a very reasonable choice as of the time of this writing.
