Comments
Comments: The trail is a mixed bag with a little bit of everything: stretches of wet leaves, ice, packed snow, rocks, mud, water running down the trail. Your feet will definitely get wet. I kept the microspikes on for stretches and took them off for some stretches. Snowshoes are helpful from the summit over to about the Bulge as the snow is deep and not many people have traveled the trail. After that, you can get by with microspikes. It rained in the afternoon although things opened up for a good view at Bunnell Rock.
