Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: With some patience and searching, water crossings down low all doable via rock hopping. We had to, on two occasions, search for the right spot to cross. Water levels high and today, rocks were wet and slippery in spots. No ice today, just wet.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail in great shape. In several places, it seemed as though leaves had been cleared from trail and blowdowns were all cleared.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: My pup was very happy and relaxed. We saw no others.
Bugs
Bugs: :) Not today.

Comments
Comments: With the rain of late, trail was very wet but still easy to navigate. A few places where leaves on top of lots of mud made things pretty slick, but avoidable if observant. We turned back about 3/4 way up due to rain starting and feeling chilled. Can't say if there's any ice/snow at summit but there wasn't any evidence of it for us. Trail is wide and easy walking in many places; a really beautiful day in the woods and looking forward to returning to see this one in winter and spring conditions.
