Water Crossing Notes: The two crossings are tough with high water and slippery rocks. Just search out a good line in advance.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Washed out with many tiny herd paths to get around ice and water.

Comments: Watery, washed-out trail down below, then put on spikes about 3 miles up as ice coated the trail. Then hard, springlike monorail of packed snow to the bare summit. Road walk is 1 mile each way.
