Water Crossing Notes: The water crossing on the old section lost all its stepping stones, but the water was still low enough for waterproof boots to walk through quickly

Trail Maintenance Notes: A lot of washouts, erosion, and running water on the lower section of the trail.

Comments: Mixed conditions again today. Lower down was bare rock, snow-covered rock and snow-covered ice, and higher up was packed snow. I brought both old and new spikes, but even with the sections of hard ice, my (increasingly dull) rock spikes gripped well.
