Comments
Comments: about an inch of new snow which helped traction...bare-booted to the summit then put on nano spikes for the return. Took a detour over the bridge between the 2nd and 3rd crossing and enjoyed the new scenery. That road must have been the access to the tower because there's bridges over every water crossing. Beautiful woods. However, the last crossing on the water line road is much much larger and required trash bags. This detour does not save any time or distance because it comes out right near the trail head. But an absolutely beautiful expanse of hardwoods, deer tracks and coyote tracks. #31 winter for me.
