Comments
Comments: A group of four of us went up Nineteen Mile Brook Trail and over to Carter Dome and back to Mt. Hite then finally went over to South and Middle Carter. We finally went down from Middle Carter to Camp Dodge. The trail conditions were great going up (Nineteen Mile Brook trail). I put on my Hillsounds about 2/3rds the way up from the trailhead. There was about 5 to 10 inches of snow along the ridge. The main trail issue was coming down from Middle Carter on the Imp trail to Camp Dodge where the trail was more like a stream of snow covered icy rocks. It was very bony. We took off our spikes less than 1/2 mile from Camp Dodge. The weather could not have been any better with clear skies above 4,000 ft and an undercast between 2000 and 3000 ft.
