Flurries at trailhead; wet snow on trail. Microspikes recommended at Mizpah cutoff, if not sooner. Only a few inches of snow at Pierce summit. Slush beneath snow between Pierce and Eisenhower. Eisenhower loop exposed/cold with 8-30inch snowdrift around cairns and leeward slope. Poor visibility this day but able to rely on cairns. |
