Didn't need traction. Old path was mostly snow free until the last 500'. Good hard base on the ridge. Bare trail heading up North. Surprising snow on the ski trail, but still not enough for me to, a bad skier, to feel comfortable attempting a run. Bottom half of the mountain has virtually no snow and avoidable ice. Previous report said mud, but we were able to completely avoid getting our shoes dirty. |
