Comments
Comments: Dropped a bike at the north end of Old Waterville Road then parked at the Smarts Brook lot. Easy 2.5 mile walk on Old Waterville Road. Saw many people enjoying the area trails - some on bikes, some with dogs, some just hiking. Mostly downhill bike ride back to the vehicle on Rt 49.

Parked at Town Square, walked over the dam, through the culvert, and then took a right to start the Mad River Path. Very nice trail along the river with one steep UP and one steep DOWN. Excellent trail work on these two sections, plus the stonework for an easy water crossing.
