| Comments: |
Trail starts with semi-frozen mud and rock hop able water. Trail eventually turns to a combination of dry and icy all the way to just under the summit.
A combination of micro spikes and walking to the side of frozen trail gets you to the summit. All the ice on the trail substantially slowed travel. The summit was clear of snow. Removed micro spikes to better climb and descend the bare summit rocks.
About a mile in is a small outlook, another larger one at 1.4 miles, and the best at the summit. Great Clear views, temps in the 20’s all day, trail lightly traveled for a Wednesday (met just a few hikers). |
