The very small streams were all easily crossed on rocks. |

The trail is in great shape with only a few small trees down. |

I saw one dog on the trail and they should be fine on this one. |

The trail was pretty dry in the beginning with just a little mud here and there. Once you get up on the ridge there was much more ice and traction was needed. The section between the two overlooks was quite icy and much colder.
I met up with several other hikers on this Monday holiday but I was the only one who got the great views. I was on top at 9:00 AM and the clouds rolled in soon after that. |
