Comments
Comments: The main goal of this trip was to check the condition of Spur Trail on Bald Mtn. This trail now ends at the old apple orchard, 0.6 mi. from Tamposi Trail. Even though markings continue beyond the orchard, the trail past that point is no longer maintained by NH Audubon and is effectively abandoned per recent correspondence.

After returning to the car I walked across Willard Pond Rd. and headed up to Goodhue. Not too much to note here. The viewpoint is still good and the adjacent high point has a jar handle but no jar (this is also the case on Bald Mtn.).

Oddball weather for sure. Some clouds, some sun, and a gusty sleet squall as I was descending Goodhue. Enough precip to leave a thin layer on Willard Pond Rd.
