Comments
Comments: This is actually a nice time to hike Daniel Doan Trail because the soggy sections are frozen. I barebooted until a quarter mile below Smarts, when the ice was unavoidable. Nice gradual descent to South Jacobs Brook and about a mile road walk back to my car. There’s about one inch of snow on the ridge.

Did Lone Oak Trail to finish up the day. Some mud at the very start, then frozen ground.
