Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: 2 cars there at 8, but I never saw anyone except one lone guy a few hundred yards from the summit spur. Did he do Glen Boulder? Not sure, because the only tracks I saw up until the Engine Hill whack were my own, then they disappeared.

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Avoided all but the last. Ice bridge had formed and held on the way out; on the way back it cracked behind me. Yikes.

Comments
Comments: All the things - leaves and rocks, ice and rocks, snow and rocks. Thrashed around trying to follow the Engine Hill whack on the way up, easier to follow on the way back. Lots of ice interspersed w/ rocks, so rock spikes it was all day as soon as the leaves disappeared. The wind was crazy, but no real drifting since there was only minimal snow from just below the Isolation/Davis junction to summit. Summit spur iced up, but I only fell as I taking my last step back onto Davis Path. Glad to check this one off for January.
