| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Parked on High Street, not far from Glencliff/Hurricane TH. On Long Pond Road, one must climb over the guard rail at the gate by the bridge over Slide Brook. This bit of a few hundred feet is on the Appalachian Trail. |

Medium sized tree blowdown, with many branches, all across the trail. About at 1700', just after the trail first leaves the old wide road, coming from the Long Pond Rd TH lot. |

| Comments: |
Had the whole place to myself, seeing no one. Icy patches in the open deciduous forest below, the pines in the middle, and the ledges up top. At times the trail was a sheet of ice. Decent but not spectacular views from the ledges to the top - clouds were moving in. Good views of Smarts of Cube to the south. Moose a bit covered in clouds. |
