Bare trail except dusting of snow overnight hides icy spots, not melting very fast at 12 degrees. Generally good to South Ridge junction, then occasional ice cascades where you will probably want spikes if not real crampons. Summit cone mostly bare with some ice and some drifts of a few inches. Boot tracks on snowmobile trail so I went down that way, not good footway but more uniform grade and fewer ice cascades. |
