Very fast conditions today. Fresh snow (1") over ice made it easy to bare-boot to the summit. But I put spikes on for the descent. Probably a couple dozen hikers today which is to be expected on a beautiful Saturday in the Whites. Love Berlin too. Reminds me of the town in the movie Deer Hunter. |
