Comments
Comments: Microspikes from the parking lot until roughly 0.25 miles past Gem Pool, when crampons pretty much become mandatory. Kept the crampons on all the way up Monroe and back to that same point, but didn't really need them between the hut and the summit. Trail was overall in pretty good condition as long as you had the right traction, there's finally enough snow again to not be just dulling your spikes between ice sections.
