 | Comments: |
Quick jaunt up to Success for my winter 52WAV hobby. 2" powder on frozen ground below, up to 4" above with occasional hardpack underneath & deeper drifts in open areas. Lots of ice on the trail. The tricky scramble on the A.T. just below the final ascent of Success summit was icy & challenging to climb down/ back up. Passed a party of 2 who were heading for the summit & plane crash site. Took the Outlook loop on the way down. |
