Comments
Comments: Livermore road was breezy on the way in and out.

Going up Northslide was hard and slow going. Definitely needed light traction, but didn't feel much safer given how thin the ice conditions were. The last hundred feet of the north slide had enough snow to feel more stable and safer.

Going down Southslide was a bit icy, but felt very reasonable with light traction.

Really looking forward to coming back and doing this again in proper winter with substantial snow/ice and using an axe and crampons. Given the snow dump in the forecast today (1/7), hopefully next weekend or late January will be better.

TL;DR: Northslide was just icy enough to make it harder than a dry fall ascent, but not easier with crampons/axe.
