| Comments: |
No one had been on the Eagle Cliff trail or the Tweedie trail since the heavy snowfall two days prior (about 10”). Snowshoes were required. Eagle Cliff trail seemed to continuously climb with few breaks. Tweedie was similar but this one was downhill for me today. Tons of deer tracks in the fresh snow. At the summit I could see that several people had broken out the Red Hill and Cabin trails, but those were not in my plan today. As mentioned, parking was an issue. Up Eagle Cliff, down Tweedie, then a 0.4 mile road walk back to the vehicle. |
